Responsibilities
- The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes.
Qualifications
- • High School graduate or equivalent.
- • Knowledge of venipuncture techniques
- • Continuous improvement mindset
- • Ability to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
- • Ability to operate required lab equipment including pneumatic tube
Skills
- • Strong trouble shooting and problem solving skills
- • Good keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systems
- • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
